The canteen, the leather strap for the canteen lid and the feltcover are all marked with the makers code 'VDNS41' ('Vereinigte Deutsche Nickel-und Stahlwerke' from 'Schwerte'). All pieces are in excellent condition. The colour of the feltcover may look slightly different in hand (due to the flash of the camera). The canteen comes with a bakelite lid and cup, which are also both marked and in very good condition.
