Very nice Wehrmacht Transport or 'Nachschub' related erkennungsmarke in excellent condition.

The tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 2.Fahrkolonne Nachschub Kolonne Abteilung 625. This abteilung was formed in August 1939 (Hannover) with 6.Fahrkolonnen. The unit was a so-called 'bespannte Kolonne' which means horsedrawn.
In April 1940 the unit was disbanned and the staff (Stab) was used to form the Stab of Infanterie-Divisions-Nachschubtruppen 300. Nachschub Kolonne Abteilung 625 only existed for about 8 months.
