The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the Mittlere Flugbetriebsstoff Kolonne 1/XII. This was an medium aviation fuel unit that operated on and near airfields. The tag comes with the orignal neckcord.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
