The tin shows overall normal signs of wear. Nearly all of its original color is present. It has a nice patina. Marked on both sides with 'Patr.Kast.41.f.MG'. Also marked on the lid with a 3-letter code 'sxb' and dated '1945'.
The text 'Werkzeuge' on one side is for 99% present. These boxes were filled with tools to make repairs on an MG34 or MG42.
