The mess tin shows overall normal signs of wear. 95% of the original color is still present. Both top and bottom are colour matching and maker marked: 'KCL41', which means the kochgeschirr is produced by 'Gebruder Mehner, Metallwaren- u. Steingutfabriken' in 1941. The top part of the kochgeschirr is also marked with the initials 'EA' (of course not done by us!).
