The mess kit is for 95% covered in its original color. The top part is maker marked and dated 'M6/2/39' and the bottom part with 'RZM' and 'M6/2/39'. These RZM kochgeschirrs where produced for branches branches like the SA,Allg.SS and the HJ. However these where issued in black. This example, in this color was propably issued to the Waffen-SS.
Not easy to find and ideal for an early Waffen-SS mannequin display.
