The card shows overall normal signs of wear. Adolf was a Unteroffizier whitin a Fallschirm-Division the moment he was killed. He is burried on the war cemetery Lommel, Belgium. The fact that the card is dated 1 Mai 1946 is probably due to the fact that only then did the family learned where and when Adolf was killed.
