The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the Ersatz Kompanie für Infanterie-Reitzug Infanterie Ersatz Regiment 19. The regiment was formed in late August 1939 in Hannover and trained and supplied soldier for 19.Infanterie-Division which became the 19.Panzer-Division in November 1940.
