The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in Radfahr Ersatz Abteilung 7. This unit was formed in October 1942 in Bad Reichenhall. It trained soldiers for different Aufklärung units. In April 1943 the Ersatz Abteilung was renamed into Aufklarungs Ersatz Abteilung 7.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
