The diary shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with 29 pages. It tells the day to day participation of the Nachrichtenzug III.Bataillon Gebirgs-Artillerie-Regiment 79. It also contains some photographs. It was issued on Christmas 1939 on a bataillon level which means very few where ever made.
Very interesting piece of Gebirgsjäger history from the first stage of the war.
