The tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served/was drafted within Baupionier Ersatz und Ausbildungs Bataillon 6. The bataillon was formed in late August 1939 as Bau Ersatz Bataillon 6. In August 1943 the bataillon became Baupionier Ersatz und Ausbildungs Bataillon 6.
It trained and supplied soldier for a lot of different pionier related units.
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
