The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the Ausbildungs Abteilung Luftgau XI Güstrow. This abtielung was formed in the winter of 1940/41 and was stationed at Fliegerhorst Güstrow. At some point the abteilung moved to Fliegerhorst Uetersen. It probably trained soldiers/pilots.
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
