Nice worn dog tag from a soldier who served in the 3.Batterie I.Abteilung Flak Regiment 44 erkennungsmarke.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '3.Batterie of the I.Abteilung Flak Regiment 44'. The abteilung of Regiment 44 was formed in the summer of 1937 in Essen and it exsisted untill December 1941 with 5 batteries. Batterie 1-3 became schwere Flak-Abteilung 471 and was stationed in Dorsten (Germany) the entire war.
