The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the 3.Nachschub Ersatz Kompanie Kraftfahr Ersatz Abteilung 27. The abteilung was formed in April 1940 in Müchen and was part of Division 157. It trained and supplied soldiers for different units. In October 1942 it became part of Division 467 and in February 1943 it was disbanned and absorbed by Kraftfahr Ersatz Abteilung 7.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
