The krug shows overall normal signs of storage wear. Its complete with lid and clear of damage and/of cracks. The lid is very nicely decorated. It was issued during christmas 1940 to a soldier who (had) served in the 3.Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 527. This regiment was formed in February 1940 and was part of the 298.Infanterie-Division. As part of this division it operated in France in June 1940. This is also visible on the krug.
Nice, decorative and scarce piece.
