Very nice and hard to encounter Kriegsmarine Rotterdam related christmas beer stein in used, but very good condition.

The krug shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid. It was issued to the Marine Hafen Abteilung Rotterdam during christmas 1941. This abteilung was formed in August 1940 and was used for the preparation of Operation Seelöwe, the invasion of England. But we all know this never took place. In early 1942 the unit was renamed into 1.Flottillenstammabteilung and a year later into 11.Landungs-Flottille.
The krugs is nicely maker marked on the bottom 'Goedewaagen' from Gouda.
Very decorative piece.
