Details

The Wehrpass shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with all pages. It belonged to Unteroffizier August Binder who served within the 2.Kompanie Gebirgs Träger Bataillon 55 from August 1938 until the end of the war.
According to the 'Gefechtskalender' August saw action during the invasion of France in 1940. After the defeat of France it moved nord and operated in Finnland and Norway. August earned (at least) the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse mit Schwertern and the Ostmedaille.
