The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the 16.Kompanie Kraftwagen Transport Regiment 602. This regiment was formed in late August 1939 for large transport tasks.
It operated during the Westfeldzug and later also in Russia and at the end of the war it operated in Yugoslavia.
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
