Very nice Wehrmacht M42 Signal Decal helmet.

The overall condition of the helmet is very good. Contains almost all of it's original factory paint. The decal is almost completely intact. It's complete with its original liner and the 3 liner rivets are in place and not messed with. The leather of the liner is supple and shows overall normal signs of wear. The liner is nicely 'RBNr. 0/1305/0327' and size marked '59' on the inside. It's also marked '7 - 43' which probably indicates the month of production 'July' and the year of production '1943'
The chin strap is in used but good condition. The leather is supple, solid and in full length. The strap is not visible maker marked.
The shell is marked with serial number '2249' in the neck and with 'hkp64' which means it was produced by 'Sächsische Emaillier- und Stanzwerke A.G., from Lauter,Sachen, Germany', size'64'.
The total weight of the helmet is approx. 1,45kg
