The pouch shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather is souple and there are no damages. All the partitions on the inside are present. Nicely marked by maker 'Franz Brehme' from 'Walsrode' and dated '1937' on the back. It's unit marked inside the middle pouch with II/Flak.Rgt.22 which stands for the II.Abteilung Flak Regiment 22. The II.Bataillon of Flak Regiment 22 was formed in April 1935 with 3 batteries and was stationed in Brandenburg/Havel. It saw combat during the invasion of Poland and after that it participated in the invasion of France. It stayed in France most of the war in areas like Amiens and Arras. It was put into action during the Normandy campaign as part of Flak-Sturm-Regiment 3 under the III.Flakkorps. In January 1945 it participated in the Ardennes Offensive in the Eifel area as part of the 2.Flak-Division supporting the 5.Panzerarmee.
