Nice Wehrmacht Oberfeldwebel soldier's portrait in used, but very good condition.
The portait shows overall normal signs of storage wear. The soldier who is named Bodo Bartels wears his Waffenrock and Schirmmutze. His service medal and Schützenschnur are pinned/attached on his tunic.
On the back there is a handwritten message that tells us the soldier's name is Bodo Bartels who died in Russia on the 25th of December 1941. After some research we found out that Bodo was killed in action in the area of Bukentowo nordostw. Stariza and he lays burried in the war cemetary of Rshew.
The size of the photo is 13cms*18cms.
