Nice black leather unit marked equipment belt or 'koppelriemen' in used, but good condition.
The belt shows overall normal signs of use. The leather solid and supple. The lenght of the belt is 95cm, but it was period shortened by replacing the inner adjustment strap. Its unit marked 9.Kompanie II Abteilung Infanterie Regiment 44. This regiment was formed in October 1935 and was part of the 11.Infanterie-Division. It saw combat during the invasion of Poland, then Belgium and France. In June 1941 it participated in Operation Barbarossa and fought in areas like Wolchow, Ladoga, Narva and later Kurland.
