Very nice press photograph of a group of Waffen-ss soldiers observing an area just cleared from the Russian.

The photograph is in excellent condition. Paper caption on the back is present as is the stamp of the photodeveloper. The caption says that an 'The Waffen-SS men dismounted from the armored personnel carrier and worked their way up to a height occupied by the enemy. In a short battle the enemy was thrown. Now the next battle area can be clearly observed'.
The photo was taken in November 1943. Size of the photo is 13cm x 18cm.
