The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the Wachkommando Reinsehlen. This unit had as task guarding and securing.
Fliegerhorst Reinsehlen was the base for Jagdgeschwader 1,3,11 and 26.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
