The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. The soldier served at the Unteroffiziers Schule der Lufwaffe 1. The school was situated in Schloß Hubertusburg. In September 1944 it was used to form Luftwaffen-Festungs-Bataillon XXIV as part of the II.Fallschirmkorps.
Nice and hard to find dog tag.
