The card shows overall normal signs of use. The photograph shows the positions (foxholes) of the 1.Kompanie Gebirgsjager Regiment 98. Note the captured (beutewaffen) Russian Tokarev SVT-40 rifle. The caption says 'Stellung der 1/98 bei der Kesselschlacht um Podwissokoje am 7.8.1941'. The photograph was taken by Obergefreiten Klein who served within the 1.Gebirgs-Division.
The card measures 15cm*21cm. On the back there the writting reads 'WK VII- Reihe 1 - Bildstelle Ic'.
