The overall condition of the document is good. The KvKII was awarded on 21st November 1941 to Breitkopf who served in the Stabskompanie Infanterie Regiment 375. This regiment was formed in August 1939 and was part of the 221.Infanterie-Division. It saw its first combat during the invasion of Poland in September 1939. From August 1940 untill March 1941 it was given leave of absence. In March it was called back into action and now became part of the 545.Sicherungs-Division. It saw combat during Operation Barbarossa in Ukrain. It fought in areas like Charkow, Rostow, Kaukasus, Mius, Shitomir. In October 1942 the regiment was renamed into Grenadier Regiment 375. The document is signed by Generalleutnant und Divisions Kommandeur Hermann Wilck.
