A nice set of Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen award documents in used, but good condition.

Both documents show overall normal signs of wear. They are named to the same soldier Obergefreiten Albert Sanftleben. The Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen in Silber was awarded on the 9th of June 1943 and the Gold version on the 31st of July 1943. Albert served withing the Stab Panzerjäger Abteilung 1. This abteilung was formed in 1934! as Panzerabwehr-Abteilung 1 as part of the 1.Infanterie-Division. In April 1940 it was renamed into Panzerjäger Abteilung 1. In September 1943 it was reorganised into a schwere-Panzerjager Kompanie and absorbed by Sturmgeschütz-Abteilung 1001 and Fla.Kp. (Sf) 664.
