Very nice 'Kreta Cufftitle' or 'Kreta Ärmelband' in excellent condition.

This high quality Kreta cufftitle is made from woven cotton and golden yellow embroidery thread. It's machine sewn and in full lenght. It show signs of aging and some small stains but it is still in excellent condition.
We received it along with a portrait and a copy of the death notice card of Gebirgsjager Unteroffizier 'Hubert Romig', who died on the 21.05.1941, one day in to the battle of Kreta (Crete). Hubert served in 8.Kompanie Gebirgsjager regiment 100. We don't know if family received this cufftitle posthumously, but we sell it as we received it.
