Very nice rifle instruction shooting booklet in excellent condition.
The booklet shows overall normal signs of use. It's solid and complete with all 110 pages. It contains a total of 73 pictures and illustrations. Printed in 1940 which makes is a so-called 'Kriegsausgabe' or war edition.
The booklet is named to a Marine Artillerie Maat Schmidt. The Feldpostnummer 42586 tells us Schmidt served within the 8.Batterie Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 201. This unit was stationed on the Dutch coast. The 8.Batterie was stationed on the island of Texel and named Batterie Eierland. This batterie was equipped with 3x15cm canons, 1x7,5cm canon, 3x2cm canons and 1x150-cm Scheinwerfer. There is quite some info to be found about this batterie.
