the card shows overall normal signs of wear. It's named to Sanitats-Obergefreiten Alfred Kaleschke who served within the Kriegslazarett-Abteilung 614. The unit fell under the command of the military commander of Belgien/Nordfrankreich in Brussels. In late 1944 the lazarett moved to the area of Lochem, the Netherlands. 
The card is dated 31.August 1944.
This card was used to indentify that Walter is entitled to the Geneva's badge. That means he can wear a white stamped armband with a red cross and is therefor under the protection of articles 9,12 and 13 of the Geneva Agreement.
