The postcard shows overall minor signs of wear. Alois was Kommandeur III.Bataillon Grenadier regiment 61 when he earned the Ritterkreuz in December 1943. He had already earned the Nahkampfspange in Silber (Oct.1943) and the Deutsche Kreuz in Gold (July 1943) In December 1944 he earned the Nahkampfspange in Gold and Januari 1945 the Eichenlaub.
