The photograph shows overall minor signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. Hauptmann der Reserve Eberhard Steinborn is giving instructions to a Grenadier. The photo was developed in September 1944. Eberhard earned the Ritterkreuz in July 1944 as commander of Panzer-Jäger-Abteilung 156. He also earned the Panzervernichtungsabzeichen in Silber and Gold.
