Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Oberstleutnant Helmut Lent.

The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment the photo was taken Helmut was Staffelkapitän 6./Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 when he earned the Ritterkreuz in August 1941. He earned the Eichenlaub in June 1942, the Schwerten August 1943 and on the last day of July 1944 Helmut earned the Brillanten as Kommandeur Nachtjagdgeschwader 3.
Helmet was the 15th soldier within the Wehrmacht who earned the Brillanten.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated Agustus 1944.
