The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. The soldier served in the Rekruten Kompanie Flieger ERsatz Bataillon VII. Flieger-Ersatz-Bataillon VII was formed in April 1942 in Großelfingen (Bavaria). It moved to Nagold in Baden-Württemberg in 1943. In Nagold, the transfer of delinquent Air Force soldiers to (prisons) probationary units was added and where prepped to serf in a Luftwaffe Jäger-Bataillon z.b.V.
