The condition is of the stein is excellent. Its complete with lid and clear of damage and/or cracks. The following sentence is engraved on the lid: 'Unseren verehrten Verwalter, zur steten erinnerung an die letzten Freiwilligen Sommer 1935' or 'to our honorable Administrator, In memory of the last 'free' summer 1935
The stein was issued to a member (administrator/manager) who served with in the 'Rad-Abt. 3/223' for his service in 'Burg-Gemünden' in the year '1935'.
