This belt is made of synthetic so-called 'Buna rubber'. These belts were developed at the end of '1935' when German scientists invented a series of synthetic rubbers because the supply of natural rubber was very scarce. The length of the belt is approx. 110cms. Nicely 'RZM' marked on the inside.
The belt is still semi supple and can be adjusted in size, but (of course) should be handled with care (and patience).
Hard to find!
