For the material used and its age, it is still in incredible condition. This lightweight eagle shows a lot of character and patina and still has much of its original finish. The back still has it's loop to hang it on the wall and is nicely maker marked by 'Johannes Markward Kotillon-haus' from 'Hamburg '.

The wingspan is about 69 centimeters and the eagle is about 34 centimeters high.

These eagles were used, among else, at Rallies and Government buildings.

Very rare piece and much harder to find than a metal variant, due to the 'fragile' material being used.
