Very nice and rare Kriegsmarine porcelain gravy boat or 'Sauciere' in used, but excellent condition.
The gravy boat shows normal signs of usage/scratches. Nicely marked on the bottom with the Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp and the maker 'Eschenbach' from 'Bavaria'. The maker Eschenbach is one of the few producers of Kriegsmarine porcelain that also printed the KM approval stamp on the glaze.
A small hoard of this type of porcelain was found at the Kriegsmarine 'Blaukoppel' camp in 'Lübeck-Schlutupp' after the war. It's measures approx. 21,5cms*13,5cms*8cms (height).
Hard to find Kriegsmarine related porcelain piece.
