The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. The Heeres Gasschutz Schule 1 was stationed in Berlin and later moved to Celle. It was responsible for all chemical-warfare specialists in the Wehrmacht. Attached to this school were the Nebel-Lehr-Regiment (Celle) und Nebeltruppenschule.
