Very nice and rare Gebirgs Kanone Modell 15 sight transport box in used, but good condition.

The box shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and complete with (supple) leather handle and the 2 hooks to close and secure it. The box has been period repainted with a tan/sand color. The text on the lid is clearly visible and reads 'Geb.K.15' which stands for Gebirgskanone 15. This was a 7,5cm Skoda canon made in Austria-Hungary during the First World War and was widely used by Gebirgsjager troops during World War 2. The number '14829' thats also on the lid (and on the inside) probably corresponded with the number on the canon. The box is complete with its inlay. The box measuresapprox. 19cm*11cm*13,5cm.
