The pendant is in slightly used but very good condition. Complete with (added) string. These pendants were punched from sheet material available from a factory near the division and came in different thicknesses.
The 5.Gebirgs-Division was also called the 'Gamsbock-Division' due to it's insignia: a mountain antelope (Gamsbock) standing on a triple mountain peak.
Hard to find piece.
