Very nice zinc Erkennungsmarke in used, but good condition. The Radfahr Ersatz Kompanie 67 was used, together with 68 and 403, in September 1942 to form Radfahr Ersatz Bataillon 2. This bataillon was part of Division 418. In October 1942 the bataillon was divided into Radfahr-Ersatz-Abteilung 2 and Radfahr-Ausbildungs-Abteilung 2. In April 1943 the ersatz abteilung became Aufklärungs-Ersatz-Abteilung 2. It trained und supplied soldiers for the Schnelle Abteilung 2. In the summer of 1943 the abteilung moved to the Contentin (Normandy) area as part of the 7.Armee and fought in that area during the Allied invasion in June 1944. The abteilung was dissolved in September 1944.
The 'O' on the tag stands for the bloodtype of the soldier.
