The card shows overall normal signs of wear. Niko was a Matrosen-Obergefreiter on the Torpedoboot Möwe. This torpedoboot was active during the Normandy invasion in the area of Le Havre who it was sunk by the British Air Force. Quite a lot of information about this boot and her missions can be found on the net.
Niko is burried on the military cemetery of Chapigny la Futelaye.
