The dog tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It appears to be a so-called period, 'Selbstfertigung' or self-production. It belonged to R.Meindlhumer who served at the Marinestation Ostsee. The 'MK’ means 'Mobilisiert für die Laufbahn XIV,XV und XVII'. This means he could have been schooled for the Marineartillerie, Kraftfahrer or Waffenwart.
