Very nice and uncommon variant of a Kriegsmarine tag in used, but very good condition.

The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a sailor named Hermann Heiken. Hermann served at the Marinestation Nordsee (N). The 'E' stands for 'Erganzungs-Marine-Artillerist'. Hermann enlisted in the year 1940.
Normally the Kriegsmarke tag is smaller and often gilded. This tag is a normal Wehrmacht size tag, made out of inox and was selfmade by Hermann.
