Details

The canteen shows normal signs of use/ageing. The leather straps are supple and pretty solid. The canteen and cup are also in good condition. The aluminium cup contains 45% of it's original black color. The cup, canteen screw lid and one of the straps are marked CFL37 and the bottle is marked CFL38. CFL means it was produced by 'Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke' form 'Lüdenscheid'. The felt cover has no visible damages on the front side. On the back there is some moth damage. A nametag and unit label has been period attached. The bottle belonged to Adolf Bohmer who served within the 6.Kompanie II.Bataillon Gebirgsjager Regiment 100.
