Details

The set shows overall normal signs of wear/usage. The canister contains 99% of it's original green color. Dated on the opening handle 1944 and marked on the spare glass lid with the makers logo. Both the long as the short carrying strap are present and in solid condition. The long strap is marked 'ebd43'. The retaining spring, cleaning cloth and spare glasses are present. The mask is a late war rubber version made by 'bmw' and dated 1944. Two of the straps are marked by the soldier whos name was 'W.Groth'. He also wrote his Feldpostnummer 53367 on the long strap which tells us he served within the Landesschützen-Zug der Luftwaffe 131/VI.
Overall a super set.
