The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the M.K.K. Flakkaserne Hilden (Germany). This military base is now known as the Waldkaserne. After the war the British used the base.
What 'M.K.K.' exactly means is not really clear. It could be Militärisches Kasernen Kommando but this is not 100% sure. Flakkaserne Hilden was operational since November 1938. Different Flak Regiments/Abteilung where based here.
