Very nice private purchased Luftwaffe Officers Visor Cap or 'Schirmmütze' in used, but good condition.

The cap shows overall normal signs of wear. It has a lovely worn shape and a nice overall patina. The fabric has no damages. The silver piping shows some more wear, but nothing major. The black headband shows is a bit discolored due to waer. The visor cap comes with its officer's chin strap, and a nice silver and black bullion insignia set (cap eagle, wreath and cockade).
The leather sweatband is present and shows wear. The leather is supple. It has some period repairs, but everything sits solid in place.
The size of the schirmmütze is approx. 55,5/56.
Nice 'been there' cap.
